Eagles Details

Eagles is our Sparkling Starz competition team for dancers with disabilities and developmental delays — with support provided every step of the way! 💖

It’s a great fit for dancers who love attention, enjoy showing personality, and light up when they get to perform for others. No experience necessary— just a love for dancing and having fun! 🤩

Requirements & Eligibility

No audition required to join Eagles
No prerequisite classes, unlike our other competition subgroups
Dancers should enjoy music, movement, performing for others, and participating with support
An audition is only required if an Eagle wants to join the production group. This helps Ms. Erica with casting.

Costs & Purchases

Registration Fee: $25 per year per family
Tuition: $55 per month
Dancers purchase a Goins Dancing shirt in addition to a dance costume
Optional extra practices are $20 per practice and are not required
Competition entry fees vary by event and are usually lower when 4 or more dancers register
Some travel expenses, such as gas and possibly lodging, may apply

Competitions & Season Timeline

Choreography begins in August
Eagles perform at company performances throughout the dance season
Competition season begins in March
Only one competition is required, usually in Lugoff, SC
